The Financial Planning and Management module has been designed to provide an introduction to basic financial planning concepts and a comprehensive treatment of the principles of personal finance, integrating both theory and practice.

It provides adult educators the foundational knowledge and understanding of the interlinked relationships between the various components which encompass personal financial planning and management and practical tools for managing personal finances.

This is achieved by an in-depth analysis of the various generic financial planning and management tools, incorporating the inherent elements of personal and household budget, income and expenditure, up to techniques and stages of personal financial planning.

The module enables the adult educators to develop greater personal "financial capability" as individuals and will in turn empower them to deliver, to full capacity, high quality training on Financial Planning and Management, to adult learners.
